      <g:title>Contemporary SW 1884 Ebook</g:title>
<g:description>A PDF copy of Contemporary Prostitution: Study of a Social Question
Pages: 540

Contemporary Prostitution: Study of a Social Question is a book that was originally published in 1884 by Léo Taxil, causing significant scandal for its condemnation of the morality police and its argumentation for the regulation of prostitution to be abolished. It details the lives of sex workers in France, and to a lesser extent elsewhere in Europe, and supplements these accounts with data from the police and doctors tasked with the inspection and treatment of sex workers. Various elements of contemporary prostitution in the 1800s are discussed, from disease to mistreatment at the hands of police to lesbians and gay men selling sex and the sexual vices. The text shines a light on children being registered as prostitutes by the very police claiming to desire to protect them.</g:description>

      <g:title>Hooker Mentality PDF</g:title>
<g:description>A PDF copy of Hooker Mentality.

A book containing thoughts on society from a sex worker perspective, covering what hookers' experiences reveal about capitalism and gender and policing. It delves into the ways that selling sex can give sex workers an insight into the systems which control us all, demonstrating why so many of us become radically left-wing after we start selling sex.

      <g:title>Transactional Intercourse PDF</g:title>
<g:description>A PDF copy of Transactional Intercourse, 235 pages long.

Transactional Intercourse is an anthology of trans and intersex sex workers' writing, serving as a snapshot of our experiences in our own words. It includes essays and personal narratives from 30 sex workers who either sell sex directly to clients or make porn, across the sex and gender spectrum.

I'm tired of looking for stories from trans and intersex sex workers and finding far more instances of people speaking over us than instances where we get to speak for ourselves. I'm angry that when I do find documentaries or writing where we are featured and get the chance to express our thoughts, those involved have frequently gone unpaid and been treated poorly in the process of sharing. I'm devastated that we're so often gawked at or framed as dangerous deviants by people who gain money and notoriety from broadcasting the details of our trauma and ridiculing our joy. We deserve better, and I hope the anthology Transactional Intercourse can be a part of that!</g:description>
